After working for about 40 years in public, private and voluntary sectors in India, I am now spending most of my waking hours in surfing, networking and internet marketing.
If Open World can somehow ensure broadband connectivity in rural pockets, autosurfing for cash can become a viable means of livelyhood for rural folk in India and the rest of South-East Asia.
I am ready to teach a core team in each village for earning livelyhood through internet, provided always-on broadband connectivity can somehow be made available to them. This will not only create work/jobs where these are needed most but will also reduce influx into towns and cities, resulting in more green life everywhere.
